A relatively recent way of exploring Tioman's rich coral life is through seawalking. Seawalking has been enjoyed off the Caribbean islands, Australia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand, as well as many other resorts around the world. And Tioman Ferry now offers this simple but exciting activity in Tioman too. The cost of a full 30-minute coral exploration exploration, including the supervision of our qualified support team, is MR130.

The great thing about seawalking is that even the most unskilled swimmers can enjoy it. In fact, even those who find it difficult to breathe through a tube, such as while snorkeling, can now experience the joy of taking a peek in our wonderful underwater world.

Seawalking allows you to explore our awe-inspiring marine flora and fauna from extremely close quarters, in their natural habitat. And as our seawalks are carried out under supervision and guidance of trained instructors, who are with you throughout the entire experience, your safety is guaranteed.

The part that makes seawalking possible is a heavy-duty water-tight glass helmet. This provides all-round viewing, as well as a reservoir of air that you'll be breathing while on the sea bed. Attached to the helmet is an integrated hose pump that continually supplies you with uninterrupted fresh air. As the helmet is water-tight and filled with air at all times, your face never even gets wet! How cool is that? And once you've slowly submerged yourself and your feet touch the sand below, the experience is one of sheer joy, similar to space walking.

The joy of having a whole school of brilliantly coloured reef fish dart around you is magical indeed. You can feed the fish or indulge in underwater photography. These memories will last forever.
